Fees

From $200 to prepare the application. Office fees on top.

Our attorney fee to prepare a U.S. copyright registration application starts at $200. That is the legal work. The U.S. Copyright Office charges its own fees, paid by you directly to the Office. A $65 fee is the current electronic Standard Application. A $45 fee is the Single Application, only for one author who is the same claimant, one work, not made for hire. Do not treat either number as a flat fee for every filing. Group claims, paper filings, and other services cost more.
