The complaint

Prokos v. Full Stack LLC et al., No. 1:26-cv-08032 (S.D.N.Y.), was filed September 15, 2026, ECF No. 1 (13 pages). Prokos demands a jury trial and sues Full Stack LLC and Does 1-10 for copyright infringement and violation of 17 U.S.C. § 1202. He filed a statement of relatedness to his earlier case against Full Stack, No. 23-cv-4960.

The works

Prokos alleges he owns five photographs, each registered with the Copyright Office before the alleged infringement: two of the interior of the Guggenheim Museum, one of the windows of the Casa dos Bicos, one of a Cape Cod skyscape, and one of the Bow Bridge in Central Park.

What the lawsuit alleges

Prokos alleges that Full Stack operates milled.com, where it posts emails, newsletters, and other third-party content alongside advertising and charges some visitors for access. He alleges that in Prokos v. Full Stack, LLC, No. 23-cv-4960, Full Stack produced screenshots showing these five photographs on milled.com on June 17, 2026, the eve of trial, and that on June 25, 2026, a jury found Full Stack liable for infringing other Prokos photographs and awarded statutory damages. He alleges, on information and belief, that the defendants copied and displayed the five photographs and removed or altered his copyright management information.

On the docket

The court extended Full Stack's time to answer on October 21, 2026. The docket lists an entry described as "Dismiss" on October 30, 2026, ECF No. 14; that filing is not available for free online.
