What it alleges

Lulu alleges it owns realistic illustrations of food items created in 2026 for use on products, which it calls the LULU Food Artworks, registered under VA 2-502-572 and VAu 1-585-078. It alleges each defendant displayed the artworks in Amazon listings and sold products, such as blankets and cellphone cases, that reproduce them in identical or substantially similar form, and that each accepted an order for delivery to Chicago. It alleges, on information and belief, that the storefronts share identifiers linking them and that the infringement was knowing and willful. (Compl. paras. 2 to 4, 7, 10, 17 to 21, 22 to 27.)
